P13 · Action & Protocol Guidance

Explain the next step. Keep humans in control.

Reviewed findings can map to bounded protocol categories for repeat measurement, recovery/workload review, hydration/nutrition review, exercise countermeasure review and environmental review. Medical escalation remains separately governed.

Health Intelligence
No active session guidance
This page does not fabricate a health finding. Action cards are created only when a real or explicitly synthetic P12 finding is supplied to the governed P13 engine.

Astronaut self-assessment

A private, voluntary context checklist. No clinical scoring, automated alerts, diagnoses or stored answers.

Checking signed-in Crew Self authorization...

  • Self-reports are not validated measurements, clinical thresholds or evidence of disease.
  • Suggested protocol categories are informational reviews only, not findings, treatment instructions or automated escalation.
  • No assessment answers or acknowledgement are saved or sent by this page; results disappear when the page is closed.
  • For urgent symptoms, follow your mission's established emergency/medical communication procedure, regardless of this checklist.
Protocol library

6 VERSIONED PROTOCOLS

Each protocol preserves authority, version, source IDs, safety wording and acknowledgement semantics.

Acknowledgement

REQUIRED FOR ACTION CARDS

Acknowledgement records preserve actor, time, finding, protocol version and state. P14 provides encrypted local persistence; P15 adds the ground audit workflow.

Medical escalation

GOVERNED TRIGGER ONLY

P13 never infers escalation from a pattern alone. A separate authority/versioned trigger is mandatory.

Reviewed protocol categories

Repeat measurement / quality check

Verify sensor contact, source quality and repeat the relevant measurement before health interpretation is escalated.

Class: repeat-quality-check · Status: reviewed category

  1. Verify source: Check sensor contact, device state, calibration/status and source freshness.
  2. Repeat measurement: Repeat the affected measurement under the same governed context when feasible.
  3. Compare quality: Confirm whether the repeated sample resolves the quality or missing-context concern.

Recovery / workload review

Review sleep, workload, schedule, recent exercise and recovery context when a reviewed fatigue/recovery pattern warrants attention.

Class: recovery-workload-review · Status: reviewed category

  1. Review recovery context: Review recent sleep, schedule, workload and exercise context alongside the finding evidence.
  2. Repeat brief assessment: Repeat the governed short readiness/cognitive assessment at the protocol-defined interval if appropriate.
  3. Review countermeasures: Review the approved mission recovery/workload countermeasure protocol; do not invent treatment steps.

Hydration / nutrition review

Review fluid, nutrition, body-mass, urine and orthostatic context without treating a single indicator as diagnostic.

Class: hydration-nutrition-review · Status: reviewed category

  1. Review intake: Review logged fluid and nutrition intake completeness and recent mission context.
  2. Repeat relevant measures: Repeat governed hydration/volume measurements when indicated by the protocol and data quality allows.
  3. Review approved countermeasure: Review the approved hydration/nutrition countermeasure pathway; do not prescribe treatment autonomously.

Exercise countermeasure review

Review exercise exposure and approved musculoskeletal countermeasure context when the evidence pattern warrants review.

Class: exercise-review · Status: reviewed category

  1. Review exercise exposure: Review recent resistance/aerobic countermeasure adherence and measurement context.
  2. Review related evidence: Review body-mass, bone-turnover, renal-stone and nutrition context together rather than in isolation.
  3. Review approved protocol: Review the mission-approved exercise countermeasure protocol; software does not autonomously change prescriptions.

Environmental telemetry review

Verify habitat telemetry and review the governed environmental-response pathway without asserting causality from contextual associations.

Class: environmental-review · Status: reviewed category

  1. Verify telemetry: Check environmental sensor quality, calibration/status, compartment and timestamp alignment.
  2. Repeat relevant health measures: Repeat the relevant governed vital/cognitive measures when appropriate.
  3. Review environmental protocol: Review the approved habitat/environment response protocol; do not infer that context caused the health change.

Medical / mission escalation

Route a finding to qualified medical/mission review only when a separately governed trigger has been activated.

Class: medical-escalation · Status: governed trigger required

  1. Preserve evidence: Preserve the finding, source observations, quality, uncertainty, protocol version and trigger provenance.
  2. Route for review: Route to the mission-authorized medical/support role identified by the governing protocol.
  3. Acknowledge handoff: Record acknowledgement of the escalation handoff; do not infer diagnosis or treatment from the escalation itself.

Safety wording
Action cards are linked to reviewed protocol categories, never free-form medical advice.
Research-only findings cannot generate operational actions.
Data-quality findings route to repeat/quality checks before health interpretation.
Medical escalation requires a separately governed trigger with authority and version.
Acknowledgements preserve protocol version, finding identity, actor and timestamp.
No action card is a diagnosis, treatment prescription or autonomous flight-rule change.
Scientific governance

The v1.1 biologist review permits bounded categories such as repeat measurement/quality check, recovery/workload review, hydration/nutrition review, exercise-countermeasure review, environmental correction/review and medical escalation.

Clinical thresholds, treatment instructions and flight-rule changes remain outside this software-defined library unless a qualified medical/mission authority supplies a separately governed rule.
